About Us & Our Teddy Bear Zuchon Passion

​Mike and I (Corinne) grew up on Vancouver Island in neighbouring mall towns. We met through a lifelong friend in our teens, and the rest is history, as they say. We have been together for over 20 years now. Since we were best friends long before our marriage, we have a strong bond and choose to do pretty much everything together. We have created a delightfully happy, loving, comical and stress-free life together with our hilarious Teddy Bear Zuchons here on Vancouver Island. Our Zuchons and their puppies have been the heartbeat of our fun-filled loving life for over 2 glorious decades. It was love at first sight for us. We were both taken instantly by the these magnificent little Teddy Bear dogs. Since that moment, we have dedicated our lives to these fantastic little Teddy Bear Zuchon charmers and the progression of the breed. Seventeen years ago, it became our goal to make the progression of the Teddy Bear Zuchon (Shichon) our priority to provide exceptional puppies to equally outstanding individuals that we could stand firmly behind. In that very lengthy history, we have had no genetic concerns in health in our dogs or their puppies and back every puppy with a lifetime guarantee or (minimum) 5-year genetic guarantee. We ensure each puppy is vet-approved and deemed in excellent health, given first vaccines, accustomed to being groomed, litter box trained, socialized, given unlimited time with the parents and adults and above all adored. 

We strive to share as much of our experience as possible through a vast supply of information, hundreds of photos & videos, a massive amount of references and testimonials complete with ongoing photos and videos through the years, Zuchon (Shichon or Bichon Shih Tzu) breed info, health info, guarantees and so much more. To provide a unique opportunity for a long-term look into our wonderful life with our Zuchon dogs that we are so very grateful to experience. 

Mike and I enjoy spending our days together with our Zuchons by our side, ready to take part in whatever fun the day may have in store. Our longterm home businesses allow us to follow our dream of providing amazing companions to our fur families by having the time to really invest in our dogs and their puppies when we occasionally have a litter. 

Our favourite times always involve our dogs, enjoying one of our many passions and hobbies Island life has to offer right by our side. We adore our dogs and enjoy having them with us everywhere we go. Be it on land viewing nature, exploring new places, finding special swimming holes, returning to favourite lakes and rivers, playing on the beaches or out on the water boating, fishing or whale watching. Every day is an adventure, not just for them but for us too!
