About Our Magnificent Teddy Bear Adult Dogs - Zuchon or Shichon a Bichon Shih-Tzu

 Our Zuchon adults are our beloved and adored, happy,  healthy family members for life and remain with us on our laps and in our beds for life - The bond we have with our dogs is truly magical, the older ones even more so. After being together for so many wonderful years we are as close as dogs and humans can be. So you will notice that once our dogs are retired they remain right by our side as the elders of our pack. Our puppies benefit greatly from the older and wiser teachers. 

Our furry family members come with us on vacations, fishing, boating, exploring the amazing beaches, lakes and forest trails that we are blessed with on the west coast. We enjoy every fun-filled day full of snuggles, love and entertainment that we are so fortunate to be a part of. Our dogs have free run of the house and can go in and out as they please. We start every warm sunny day with a cup of coffee in the sun while playing fetch with the gang, waving "Hi" as neighbours and children walk by on their way to school. Our remote little paradise is very quaint. Our dogs love to play, and enjoy engaging us in different games like fetch, find it, tug-o-war, keep away any other games we come up with. They are a huge part of all aspects of our life and come along everywhere we go, walking, swimming,  fishing, boating, road trips, beaches, lakes, vacations and getaways all involve them. 

Our Teddy Bear Zuchons (Shichons) are calm, gentle, lovable, cuddly and patient with excellent therapy temperaments making them an excellent choice for individuals looking for the perfect companion or service & therapy needs. They are also known and loved for their ability to create individual bonds with every member of the family, especially children. They are uniquely attentive to children of all ages and love to interact, make eye contact and play with children, making an excellent family companion. Because of these amazing traits, they were originally bred as companions for handicapped children who needed a cuddly and squeezable dog that would gladly handle hours of snuggling without becoming irritated or nippy.
