Hi there, Thought I would give you a quick update on Finnegan. He is doing really well, he and Kassidy have bonded, and they are rarely apart (he mopes, and lays by the door when she goes to preschool, he is going to hate Kindergarten in 2010!) It is like we have always had him lol! Funny how quickly that happens. Anyhow, he is thriving and we love him like crazy. Take care, Laurie
Hi Corrine,
I thought I would just drop you a quick note (and a few more pics) to let you know how Finnegan is making out. I think he is doing really well, we are really enjoying him. He sleeps with us, he hasn't liked being in the crate, though I am still putting him in there for the 5 mins I am out taking Kassidy to school or dance class...he seems ok in those short times. He has a good appetite and is still doing well with his litter, only a couple of little accidents. We haven't really tried him outside yet, we are working our way up to that lol! He is so attached to Kassidy he follows her everywhere, and she loves it...always chatting away to him...she is making party hats for the two of them as we speak, I guess they are having a party! She is always trying to teach him new things, using kibble to do it, it is so cute. He has blended into the family well, its like he has always been here, such an easy transition, and we have you guys to thank for that, so thank you! Hope all is well with you, take care and I will send some more updates over the next couple of months if you are interested.
Laurie
Hi Corinne, Things are going great. Muggles is pretty well behaved. We've started her on training and she knows when to come when we ask her and she's pretty good at staying in one place and not going anywhere until we tell her it's okay to go. It's pretty amazing to see when she's just sitting on a mat dying to get to her food but knows she can't until we tell her she can go. :) She's such a fast learner. Housebreaking is going well. We've taken her litter box away since she has a habit of playing in it after she's done doing her business. That being said, she's now going outside all the time. No accidents. TTYS, Dianna
Hi Corinne great meet you and yogi and her parents. She is so cute, and makes us laugh a lot. We are so happy we got Yogi from you, she is a real delight and brings lots of love to our house. She is still "the party starter" as you called her!
Many thanks Michael and Sylvia
Hi Corrine!.... we had one of the best weeks of our lives with little Yogi!
She is the most calm, lovely, fun, and loveable little "person" that we have ever known! She had a little car sickness that first day,... and then a little two days later going to the vet,... but since then, she has been fine (I've been taking her a few blocks daily while stroking and encouraging her,...now she seems fine) She had her second set of shots and a check up.... came out a star (and the vet even commented on what a fantastic pup she was!) We waited until last night to crate train her (we wanted her to have a firm base of love and comfort before we did it) ... and she only whimpered a few times,.. and with the "Caesar tip" of holding her by the neck skin and putting her firmly into the den... she stopped immediately... and we all had a great night of sleep!! She remains trained for the "pine tray".. but mainly goes on the walks outside (she gets at least three per day) ....we play daily with her toys (she loves Mr. Squeaky Carrot the most)... and cuddle her as often as possible...... to sum it all up... we LOVE HER TO BITS !!!! Thank you again for raising such a lovely little girl,.. for all of your helpful information,.. and we will certainly drop by one day for her to say hello!
big hugs, Sylvia and Michael
WELL!... I am such a smart and wonderful puppy (my mommy keeps telling me so!) ... that I was kennel trained in one night,... NEVER have accidents in the house,.... and can keep myself entertained with my fun toys (especially after I am a little tired with all the attention I get on our walks up Main st!) According to my mommy and daddy,... I am the best puppy in the whole wide world!!! (not that I'm bragging) Most of all,... I am funny, and huggy,... and full of love...So, I am sending some to you! xoxoox Yogi
Corinne,
I just thought I’d send you an update and some newer photos of our little Moka. She’s doing very well. We had her groomed a couple of weeks ago and the groomer was commenting on how beautiful her coat is. We take her out for daily exercise to one of the many parks around our area and she gets combed out daily, (although it doesn’t look like it in the photo). She’s met most of our friends and family and they’ve all fallen in love with her! Everyone is charmed by her personality and funny little quirks. There’s a couple of little dogs in the neighbourhood that she has become friends with. We’ll be starting puppy school in mid-March, although she knows her basic commands now. Anyways hope you and your husband and dog family are doing well!
Take care, Leslie & Don
Everyone is charmed by her personality and funny little quirks.
Hi Corinne, here are a couple of pictures following Tucker’s first grooming. He was a brave boy and did really well. Tucker is a lot of fun and has a great personality. He starts his puppy classes on Saturday – we will see how that will go.
Hi Corinne, Well we now have a happy, playful puppy. He is a joy to have in our home. He is eating, drinking, playing, wagging his tail and using his litter box. He was very sad for a few days but now I think he has completely adjusted to our home. I know you will be glad to hear that he is happy again. We will send you more pictures as he grows.
Judy
Hi Corinne, Tucker is doing great. He is such fun. He feels totally at home now and we are truly enjoying him. He really does have a great personality.
That is so wonderful that Izzy and Tinka were featured in the article!! You both must be so proud! We are blessed to have one of Izzy's beautiful little babies! There isn't a day that goes by that we aren't amazed at how well adjusted Molly is. We will be forever grateful that we have Molly in our lives! I love to share my chair with Molly. Molly loves to lay in the soft spot of the foot rest ... is is like a little hammock for her. Molly also likes to lay down on the centre part .... the padded console top between Don and I. I fell asleep the other night watching the television with Molly between us ... I had reclined right back. I woke up to Don giggling and taking photos .... Molly was sleeping on my head. *tee hee* The photos didn't turn out well because the lighting wasn't very good. Molly continues to amaze us .... and make us laugh uncontrollably. Molly is such a sweet wee girl who has our hearts completely. Molly is leaning to throw her toys up .... the first time she did it I laughed myself silly! When Molly threw her toy up it landed on her and she let out a wee bark at it. She loves it when we play get the toy ... Molly will bring her toy to me and want me to toss it for her ... she runs and gets it and brings it back to me for more toss play. Molly really is a very intelligent girl .... I'm not just saying that because I'm her Mommy. Molly has such a wonderful personality .... you just can't help but love her to pieces! You, Mike, Izzy and Jumba really do make beautiful babies!!!
Take good care,
Dawn Marie
Dear Corinne & Mike,
It is hard to believe that two weeks has already gone by! I thought it was high time I sent you off an email .... with a photo of Molly attached of course. I have to say .... Jumba and Izzy make absolutely wonderful babies! You and Mike are amazing too .... I know Molly wouldn't be so well adjusted if it weren't for both of you being there every step of the way! When people ask where we got Molly we tell them about your web site .... and how amazing and caring you both are. The wellbeing of your little furry family members comes first and foremost!
How do you spell happiness ...... Molly
We have had a wonderful two weeks bonding. Molly is such an amazing little girl .... so well adjusted! We have play time together .... run around the yard time ... then there is nap time for Molly. When it is nap time I lay with Molly on my tummy ... or snuggled into my neck. It's a wonderful bonding experience! Molly knows when it is bedtime ... we carry her bed into the bedroom ... then we have a wee snuggle up on the big bed ... then place her in her bed and off to sleep she goes. Take good care .... Molly sends you all a big hug and kiss xoxo
Dawn Marie & Don
Molly has slept well every night ... even the first night she came home!
Our vet commented on how calm Molly is ... she said that you don't often see that in small breed dogs. Molly is such a joy .... she brings even more light and laughter to our home. We are both completely in love with her ... she is such a precious wee girl. Molly is a very intelligent little girl .... she has already learned to come ... has learned to sit .... well as good as a wee girl can. Molly is so very comical when running around the back yard .... a favorite game of hers. We both get laughing at her antics while she is running around .... she is soooo cute ... now we are sure Molly is laughing too .... she makes this cute little noise too when we are laughing while she is running around. Molly has really taken to us .... when Don gets home from work Molly is so happy to see him .... she becomes a little wiggle bum .... yesterday she even let out this cute wee bark she was so happy to see Don.
Thank you so much for the precious gift of Molly! Our lives are forever changed for the better having Molly as our wee girl.
Have a wonderful day .... I know I will
Dawn
Hi Corinne: Thought is was time to send you an updated photo of Tango. We are in love with him. He has been such a great addition to our family. Lexi is still his den mother and Brenden is the up and coming trainer. Tango seems to have mastered (I say this with my fingers crossed) house training. This I think is appreciated the most by me. Take good care. Sherry & Crew
Just a few pics. The 1st night he was nervous but what a difference a day makes! He is playing and having a gas with the boys as you can see from the attached file. He is going outside for his business, had a couple small accidents , we have a pad out but he seems to enjoy the grass for his duties !You go right ahead with the pictures…he is a hoot! He goes right to the back door to go out for a pee now. Thanks again….i will keep you up to date!
