We have decades of ongoing references from our families all around the world from Vancouver B.C Canada, Calgary, Edmonton Alberta to as far away as Toronto, Miami, Palm Springs, Italy and Singapore.
Andrea mentioned that she was going to apply for a puppy and I'm so glad she did! She was the first of our friends to meet Ollie and she is smitten with him. She would be a lovely mum to one of your puppies. Here's a picture of Ollie lying under my feet as I write this message.
Take care, Suzanne
Hi Corinne and Mike, Just wanted to give you a little update on Ollie. He is growing into the best little guy and we love him to bits! He's now 4 months old and has received all of his shots. He's growing quickly, but he's still super small -- he's now just over 5lbs. He loves his food and is very treat oriented which makes training a breeze. We've done a lot of socialization and training, and it's really paid off -- he knows how to sit, lie down, stay, and he walks on his leash very well. He's just the most chilled out little guy imaginable and we get comments all the time on his calmness. He loves every person, child, and dog he meets. He LOVES going to school with our daughter and getting mobbed by school children and he's also super fond of walks to the local coffee shop so he can meet new people. He's really gotten used to the routine around our house and revels in his laid back lifestyle. He's a great sleeper and lounger, and we think he'd rather choose to stay home than go for a walk most days. Here are some photos so you can see how he's grown.
Hi Mike and Corinne, Just a quick update. Ollie is doing so well! He's eating kefir (like crazy) and kibble. And he loves the little treats you sent with him. He's sleeping a lot (loves his crate) and slept through the night last night. We are completely blown away with his litter box training -- we set up a small box with pine pellets just as you instructed and he has been using it regularly on his own since we brought him home. He's starting to come out of his shell and absolutely adores our 8 year old daughter. He's so calm and happy in her arms, which is wonderful. He plays up a storm with her and kisses her all over. He's warmed up to her more than us at this point, and we're perfectly happy with that. He loves his toys, particularly the chewie stuffy. His safe zone is our kitchen and he's been very brave, exploring the area. He spent some time today crying/whimpering, obviously misses his pack, but as soon as our daughter came home from school his whole mood changed! We couldn't be more delighted with his progress so far. We can tell already that he's the perfect little man for our family. I'll continue to update you.
Hi Corinne and Mike, Just wanted to share this photo of Ollie (on the right) and his half brother Otis (on the left). Otis is catching up in size to Ollie. They're great pals! We've had a few meetings with some other Tiny Teddies on the North Shore -- Annie, and Bailey (both from Otis' litter). It's very cute seeing 4 Tiny teddies playing together! They are all so similar! All the best to you both and Merry Christmas! Cheers, Suzanne
Hi Corinne! I wanted to thank you for the personalized blanket and Otis’s stuffers and treats. He’s playing with the duck right now . I’ve left it in his bed and just now pulled it out. He LOVES it and pulls it back into his kennel! He met Ollie yesterday and they had a fabulous play. They are going to be best friends for sure!!!!! I’ll send photos and a video from my gmail account just a bit later. Otis is happy happy happy! I ADORE him!!!! Our nights aren’t too bad at all. He wakes up once for peeing and then back to sleep until 7:15. Tomorrow is another play time with Ollie. I’ll keep you posted. My thanks Andrea
Here’s part of their first play date. Ollie learned quickly how to be a big brother and play gently. His first attempt was not appreciated by Otis🤣
Hi, Max is lovely. Settling in and starting to explore a bit more. I wanted your opinion about chewing furniture. He's just started chewing the wooden coffee table. What do you suggest? I was thinking maybe he needs something stronger to chew than his toys. Leather belt? Wood block? He is a lovely puppy, it's been way easier (so far) than I expected. So smart and relaxed. Thanks, Kim
Rosie is an absolute gem!!!! Here’s a spacey video of Rosie with some other dogs….Toffee was too distracted sniffing…
Our Zuchons have the most amazing, calm and balanced temperament.
Just wanted to send you some New Year photos of our little man Toffee!! Bless your family and the pups in 2022! What a poser!
Blessings, Maureen and Jamie!
Hello Corrine and Mike! I hope you’re well! Just wanted to send you a lovely photo of Toffee’s 3rd Birthday! He’s fun, comical and such a joy! Take care! Maureen, Jamie and Family!
Toffee is going to meet his new cousin(Rosie) next week. She’s absolutely ADORABLE!!!!! I will take pics and send them to you. Rosie’s puppy mannerisms are similar to when Toffee was that age. Super hilarious but oh so fun!
Your dogs are so well mannered/tempered. Toffee is a cheeky boy, but so good with the trainer/dog walker. He’s absolutely astounding. You can tell all your prospective buyers that they are purchasing a fine pup!
Take care! Maureen
Hello Corinne and family! I hope you all are doing well. I Just wanted to send you a fun picture of Toffee turning 2! Time flies with puppies! Toffee is strong, healthy, comical and a whopping 20lbs of pure muscle! Vet checks have been super! No health conditions, skin rashes or bad teeth. All good reports! Please feel free to contact us if you ever make it to the big city! We would love for you to see how Toffee and grown and become such a big part of our lives! Take care! Maureen and Jamie
And a Happy New Year 2021!
I have been meaning forever to send you holiday updates of our little Toffee man. Fun, comical, bichon buzzed, loving…you name it, he has it! I just wanted to share a reference for all potential dog owners that this is probably one of the best mixed breeds for families! I can’t believe they’re not in the forefront for a ZUCHON Kennel Club! We are so glad we purchased Toffee in 2018 before this pandemic hit. Now I’m sure you’re inundated with emails and applications! If you’re ever coming to the city, please call or email us. I’d love for you and Mike to see one of your extended family members! Take care!
Maureen and Jamie
Hello Corrine and Mike, I hope you and your fur family are well. Just wanted to give you an update on our little Toffee. He’s sassy, comical, obedient one minute, mellow and low key the next minute. He has matured these past few weeks. I can see that he looks like a mix of both Jumba and Zeva .Toffee is almost 7 months! He’s almost 12 pounds. He was neutered about three weeks ago. He was such a trooper! He was sad the day we picked him up after his surgery, but he perked up right away the next day. He’s fully housetrained now but we leave the litter box out just in case. He never uses it much anymore. He can ring the bell hanging on our patio door to indicate that he needs to go do his business outside. We have a wonderful relationship with our dog trainer/walker/sitter. Isabel our trainer takes Toffee out twice a week at off leash parks and beaches. where Toffee can run and spar with other dogs in his pack. Toffee used to be the youngest pup in his pack, but since then, new pups have arrived and Toffee puts them in their place! I’ll send you more photos. We’ve switched Toffee from Kibble to Real Raw diets. We do a combination of freezed dried grand cru kibble and raw paddies containing meat, tendons and bones. We still give him his probiotics every morning. Toffee gobbles it up right away. We think raw is the way to go for dogs as we’ve seen, he was getting bored of the kibble. I know that you probably think about your dogs everyday. But I really wanted to update you on the progress of our little guy. Toffee has brought so much joy into our lives! Here are some pictures and videos of Toffee running with his pack! Take care! Maureen
Great day for a bike ride together!

Our Teddy Bear puppies absolutely LOVE to perform interact with their people and impress!
She sure is a beautiful happy pup. Here she is waking up from a nap looking like million bucks... She’s doing great, I take her to parties, every one is in love with her. She’s brought so much joy to my life. Thanks so much for raising her so well from her infant stage, she’s a breeze to have around. Have a good Christmas. We’re heading down to California next week to visit family. Ruby gets a lot of attention. Like hanging out with a celebrity or something.
Ruby, proud Poppa and family flying to California.
Hey, Ruby's doing great. No issues whatsoever, she fits in perfectly. Plenty of space filled with toys and cozy blankets/pillows for her to play and rest. She's meeting lot's of new faces, loves everyone, and is already very much loved back. She's perfect. Some friends of mine got her a "Welcome home Ruby!" cake, the humans ate it. I'm the one in the yellow shirt, proud new pop. - joey

Hi Corinne and Mike Our groomer took this picture of Oskar a couple of days ago. I wanted you to see how handsome he is at 8.5 years old. Isn’t he awesome? Love this beautiful boy to pieces! Hope you are well! Karen
Hi Corinne, So here’s a few pictures of Mr. Oskar. He is such an important part of our lives. His temperament is just outstanding and he is so intelligent. He’s more like a loveable child than a dog! And those soulful eyes capture the hearts of everyone who meets him. He is loved to bits!

Hi Corrine and Mike Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and all the best to you. We recently spent some time on the Sunshine Coast and little Oskar had a great time. Here are some recent photos of our handsome boy. Karen and Tristan and Lil' O
Hi Corinne & Mike It's my birthday tomorrow! My humans baked me some delicious beef and cheddar dog biscuits. I am a happy one year old! Love Oskar
Hi Corrine & Mike
Here are some recent pictures of Oskar, including his birthday picture taken on March 19. Can't believe our little boy is 2 years old already! He is doing great, full of fun and energy, super smart, and he is the best cuddler ever. When I am watching TV in the evenings he will often fall asleep in my arms, such a sweetheart!
Hope you are well and enjoying all your puppies.
Karen & Tristan
Hi Corinne and Mike
Oskar is doing great. He had his one year booster shot a couple of weeks ago. His first trip to the vet in a year! He is a very healthy boy and and he now weighs 12.6 pounds. He continues to be a great source of entertainment and companionship for us and we get to spoil him. He is the most laid back dog I have ever met. He does not get stressed or anxious about anything and he rarely barks. When the doorbell rings his ears go up and he looks at you as if to say you better get that but he does not bark. He loves to be outdoors and we get him out and about as often as possible. He still picks the dark bits out of his food unless that is all that is left then he will eat them. I found some natural salmon treats that he really likes. His favorite snack is still plain yogurt, with or without mashed banana in it. We are growing a few strawberries and he always gets to sample them when we go out to water. He also loves fresh blueberries and dried cranberries. Sending a couple of photos so you can see how handsome he is. His hair is very short right now as it had grown out so much he looked like a bear and he was getting matted and too hot. He doesn't like the short clip, he barks at himself in the full length mirror. Hope you are enjoying your summer and playing with all your new additions.
Karen and Tristan
Oskar is such a funny guy he keeps us entertained all the time. His favorite game is playing hide and seek and he is a very good "finder". He loves to watch TV programs or videos with animals but sometimes gets so over stimulated we have to turn it off! He loves to watch videos on my iphone. He also likes to look at pictures of Tinka and Jumba and all of your new puppies on your website! A new treat he really likes is a piece of antler. The pet store recommended it as they do not splinter. It is also a good shape and size for him to carry around. He lays on his back and holds it in his paws like a baby with a bottle. lol! I am forwarding a couple of recent pictures so you can see how handsome Oskar is. Looking forward to spring just around the corner. Hope you are doing well. Regards Karen and Tristan
Hi Corrine & Mike Here is a couple of pictures of our sweet boy. We love the one of him in his bed with his two favourite buddies. It's the 3 bears, Grizzly Bear, Honey Bear and, of course, Oskar the Teddy Bear! We have so much fun with him. He is so precious. Karen and Tristan
Hi Corinne These photo's were taken after Oskar's bath today. He loved his bath and brushing - no hair dryer required, he dried laying in the sun on the lounge chair. It's a dogs life! Yes, gotta get the face trimmed - lol Regards Karen
Just a quick note to let you know Oskar is doing great. We are calling him the "tiny terror" because he is very much like a little kid right now, into everything, lots of energy and you never know what he will be up to next. He loves to steal our socks, shoes, tear up newspapers, dump the bathroom garbage and if you ever leave the bathroom door open while you are showering you will step out to find no towels and no bathmat because he has taken everything! It's like he knows he is so cute that he can get away with anything. Having said that, he really is a good boy and generally seems to match our energy level. He is content to watch TV and cuddle, go for lot's of walks, play hide and seek and "chase me", whatever we want to do he is game. He loves to lay on my knee and have his ears and tummy rubbed and often times he gets a full body massage which almost puts him to sleep. He is very lovable. The ONLY time he ever barks is when he wants our attention and when he does bark it is very loud, especially when it is right in your ear or face. He still loves everyone he meets, he stands up on his hind legs and cries for people to pet him. One would think he was starved for attention but that is totally not the case, he just truly seems to love everyone. He is a celebrity in our neighborhood, whenever we are out windows and doors open for people to call hello to Oskar. We even had a group of little girls at our door asking if Oskar could come out to play! He is the best little dancer I have seen, he dances on his hind legs backwards all across the living room. Chloe was good at that too, it must be a Bichon trait. He is fine being left alone now, safe in his crate with many toys and a variety of stuffed bones. I have a baby kong that looks like a soother with the ring on top, I fill it with canned dog food (Blue, of course) and freeze it for when we are out. He loves it and it keeps him busy for a long time. He was neutered last Friday and all went well, it only slowed him down for a second and his incision has healed super fast. He was 8.14 pounds the day of the surgery, still small and we love it.
Karen and Tristan
Hi Mike and Corinne, I hope you are both doing well. I wanted to send you a few new pictures from Thors first birthday! The one at the bottom is him after eating pup scoops ice cream for the first time! He really liked it:) Thor is doing really well and is such a blessing in my life:) he makes every day special and exciting. Do you recognize his purple ball? He still loves this toy, especially the tag on it haha! It’s still one of his favourites to play with. Thank you so much for the many ways you have blessed me with this little one, he truly brings so much joy and laughter into my home:) Blessings. Jyvanie
